Position: FLT Counterbalance Operator - 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights)
FLT Counterbalance Operator - Continental 4 on / 4 off (Days & Nights) Pay Rate: £13.54 per hour (with pay increase in February 2026) Contract Type:
Temporary, ongoing Overview:
This role involves approximately 50% forklift counterbalance operation and 50% general warehousing duties. Candidates must be comfortable switching efficiently between both types of tasks.

Key Requirements:

Valid, in-date forklift counterbalance licence (in-house licences will not be accepted) Minimum of 2 years recent experience operating FLTs in a fast-paced warehouse environment Ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am) on a continental 4 on / 4 off pattern Comfortable using computer systems, specifically SAP Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks as required

Key Responsibilities:

Forklift Operation (50%):
Safely operate a forklift counterbalance within the warehouse environment Load and unload goods from vehicles and storage areas Move stock to designated locations following warehouse procedures Ensure all forklift operations comply with health and safety standards Warehousing Duties (50%):
Pick, pack, and stage products accurately according to orders Assist with stock rotation and inventory management Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment Use computer systems (e.g., SAP) to log and track stock movements Additional Information:
