Global Plant Maintenance Master Data Expert

Overview

The Global Plant Maintenance Master Data Expert ensures compliance with Trinseo’s SAP master data policies and standards. This role acts as the global authority for Plant Maintenance master data, supporting plants by processing requests for new or updated master data, maintaining data integrity, and providing expert guidance on usage within maintenance work processes.

The position is critical for implementing new policies, assessing their impact on existing master data and workflows, and driving efficiency through automation and standardization. The expert must understand business priorities and customer workflows to ensure timely and accurate execution of tasks.

Master Data Governance & Processing

• Enforce compliance with Trinseo SAP master data policies and standards.
• Timely and accurate processing of plant requests for new or changed master data.
• Validate requests against established policies and technical constraints.

Knowledge & Standards Management

• Keep knowledge of SAP master data objects current and up to date.
• Create and maintain global master data standards and documentation.

Automation & Efficiency

• Participate in the maintenance and development of BPA (Business Process Automation) solutions to optimize efficiency.
• Monitor master data gaps and implement corrective solutions.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with subject matter experts, IT personnel, and plant stakeholders on ongoing requests and projects.
• Communicate effectively with plants to align on priorities and resolve issues.

Metrics & Continuous Improvement

• Define and track metrics to improve data integrity and Master Data Administration (MDA) efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to streamline master data processes and enhance governance.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Trinseo SAP systems.
• Proficiency with Office 365 tools (Excel, SharePoint, Teams, etc.).
• Strong understanding of data structures and relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Entry-level programming skills (e.g., VBA, Python, or similar).
