Engineering Shift Team Leader - Permanent - Tewkesbury - x2 rotating shifts - £20.51p/h to £21.51p/h DOE - Benefits; 30 days holiday, onsite parking, Company Pension, discounted products.

Shift;
Week 1, Monday to Saturday 6am til 2pm & Week 2, Monday to Friday 13.45pm to 21.45pm

We have an exciting opportunity to join a family owned FMCG company based in Tewkesbury within their Engineering department as a Engineering Shift Team Leader.

The successful Engineering Team Leader will be required to;

Support the Engineering Manager in delivering departmental goals
Supervise, train and mentor Engineers, utilising team skills effectively
Coordinate and deliver planned preventative maintenance schedules
Repair and test electrical and mechanical plant equipment
Lead effective fault finding and resolution for high-speed automated machinery
Assist with departmental paperwork, records and compliance requirements
Mentor Apprenticeship candidates as appropriate
Deputise for the Engineering Manager and cover for Engineers when required
Participate in equipment breakdown call-out rota

In order to be considered for this role;

Minimum of an electrical-based apprenticeship qualification

Experience of high-speed machinery in FMCG or a similar production environment Strong electrical fault-finding skills
Experience working with automated machinery
Previous supervisory or people management experience
Self-motivated with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
Strong communication skills and ability to foster good working relationships
Flexible approach to shifts and deadlines, delivering a high standard of work
