Join a leading engineering team at the forefront of defence and space technology. We are seeking a Senior Design Engineer with deep hardware and systems expertise to lead high-profile, cutting-edge projects from concept through qualification.
What You Will Do- Lead the design of complex hardware systems, ensuring they meet technical and customer requirements.
- Drive full lifecycle projects: concept, detailed design, prototyping, testing, and qualification.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
- Support continuous improvement of engineering processes and design practices.
- Degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, Systems) or equivalent experience.
- Extensive experience in hardware/system design within aerospace, defence, or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of electrical/electronic systems, EMC, mechanical design, and harsh environment requirements.
- Proven ability to work independently, make technical decisions, and lead projects from start to finish.
- Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Mid to Senior level experience (typically 5+ years of hands‑on design experience).
- Highly motivated engineer with a passion for designing complex hardware systems.
- Thrives on solving challenging technical problems and delivering projects from concept to completion.
- Strong understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, with confidence in applying knowledge in harsh or highly regulated environments.
- Experienced mentor and collaborator who supports team growth and knowledge sharing.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, innovative environment where expertise directly impacts cutting‑edge defence and aerospace projects.
