During your Placement, you will be predominantly based in the Design Engineering department where you will have the opportunity to develop in areas such as:
Advanced 3D CAD, Design for Manufacture, Design for Assembly, 3D Printing, Materials, Engineering maths and Product Development. Typical areas you will be working in include:

- You must be in your second year of a relevant undergraduate degree (or equivalent) such as Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
- Detail driven, with experience in CAD, drafting & GD&T.
- Team player, self-motivated, methodical in approach and able to work under pressure to tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
- You must be able to demonstrate practical problem solving and workshop skills, either in university projects or outside of your degree.
- You will be a hands‑on individual and be as comfortable in the lab testing and developing as you are behind the computer.
