Blade Operator - Dowty Propellers

Job Description Summary

The Blade Operator will be responsible for supporting and continuing to drive improvements in the manufacture, quality and output of Composite Propeller Blades for both new make and repair & overhaul.

• Bonding.
• Polyurethane coat spraying, painting and finishing.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Identifying and holding responsibility for quality & environment, health & safety issues.
• Repairing.

• Demonstrate ability to work as an effective team player, taking ownership and accountability for quality and EHS standards.
• Adopt a flexible approach to gaining new skills and working across cells within the Dowty Brockworth site.
• Demonstrate personal drive and motivation to identify and implement process improvements.
• Demonstrate experience of working in a flow line production environment and be familiar with materials processing.
• Demonstrate good manual dexterity.
