- Generate, monitor, and close repair orders with accuracy, ensuring all documentation, service tracking, and supporting records are complete.
- Coordinate service appointments, repair estimates, authorizations, customer communications, and complaint resolution.
- Provide timely updates to drivers on repair status and assist with identifying service needs in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor repair progress, collaborate with shop management, and resolve delays or issues related to parts or repair orders.
- Issue correct tractor and trailer parts to technicians, recording all transactions to the appropriate repair orders.
- Order required parts from approved vendors when not available in stock and ensure timely procurement and delivery.
- Receive, stock, and organize incoming parts shipments, maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse and office environment.
- Maintain up-to-date service files, technical bulletins, and department records for shop reference.
- Provide phone and office coverage, assist with department files, and ensure continuous workflow support.
