Job Title:
Account Manager – Events & Activation – Thame, United Kingdom
Hyphen, a boutique live events & experiential agency, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our team in Thame. The role involves managing end‑to‑end experiential events and activations for our clients, operating within a creative and innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client servicing – main point of contact, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and with flair. Set agendas, manage meetings and drive actions.
- Event & activation delivery – oversee planning, production/build, logistics and close‑down, ensuring smooth running of events and activations.
- Creative management – support brainstorming, brief designers and art workers, manage creative requirements.
- People management – manage line reports, field teams, suppliers and internal colleagues across Hyphen/CPM group.
- Finance management – create cost estimates, negotiate rates, protect margins and reconcile projects.
Key
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event / experiential marketing.
- Proven end‑to‑end project management in a similar environment.
- Can‑do attitude, passion for live events and experiential marketing.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, flexible, adaptable, resourceful and accountable personality.
- Detail‑oriented, organised and efficient, able to simplify complex plans.
- Ability to adjust and set priorities to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- IT literacy:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365; general digital awareness and skills.
Benefits:
- 25–31 days leave per year (increasing by 1 day each year). 26 days per annum to start; up to 31 days.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, 09:00 to 17:30 with occasional weekend work. Flexible working is promoted – attend one of our offices in Thame, Stokenchurch or Leeds 3 days per week.
Location: Thame, United Kingdom (OX9)
Salary: up to £38,000 p/a, depending on experience. Starting early 2026.
