Assistant Accountant

Overview

Holden Jones is delighted to be partnering with an ambitious, private equity-backed IT company based in the heart of Maidenhead. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing, forward-thinking business at a pivotal stage of its journey.

As a key member of a small, close-knit finance team, you will take ownership of the accounts payable and receivable functions. You'll be responsible for processing a variety of client invoices - from one-off project fees to recurring monthly billing - and managing the credit control process. While most communications are handled via email, a confident phone manner will occasionally be needed to resolve queries or follow up on outstanding payments.

We're looking for a reliable and detail-focused individual with at least three years of experience in a professional finance or accounting environment. You should be comfortable working with accounting systems and be someone who enjoys taking responsibility and working as part of a collaborative team.
