PRODUCTION OPERATIVE
Location: Near Thetford (must have own transport)
Salary: £26,500 + regular overtime
Hours:

• Mon Thurs: 08 45

• Fri: 08 00
Holidays: 25 days per year (Jan Dec) + bank holidays

We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role involving the assembly, preparation, and packing of products before dispatch. A great opportunity for someone reliable and practical who is looking for a long-term position with full training provided.

The Role

You will work as part of a team to carry out a range of production tasks, including:

• Preparing components and materials

• Assembling products to manufacturing standards

• Applying fittings, fixtures, labels and other product details

• Packing, palletising and preparing items for delivery

• Using air and powered hand tools (training provided)

• Reading and working from manufacturing drawings (training provided)

• Following all health & safety procedures

• Supporting with general production duties as required

Manual handling is involved. The heaviest individual panel weighs approx. 15kg.

About You

• Reliable, punctual and able to manage your workload

• Strong attention to detail and able to work to deadlines

• Confident using or learning hand/power tools

• Good communication skills within a small team

• Full driving licence and own transport (site is 5 miles outside Thetford)

Experience with CNC machinery is desirable but not essential.
