We are looking for a Logistics Operative / FLT Driver to join our Manufacturing site in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. This is a permanent position working a 4 on 4 off night shift pattern (12 hours per shift, 48 hours per week, 18:00 to 06:00). The role is typically paid last Friday of each month.

• £13.03 hourly rate plus a £2.10 shift allowance.
• Paid last Friday of each month.

• Supply the production departments with raw and packaging materials to maintain continuous production.
• Locate finished goods from production areas into the warehouse for storage until dispatch.
• Unload incoming vehicles and rack away materials following acceptance and GRN generation.
• Pick and assemble loads ready for dispatch; load outgoing vehicles with finished goods as detailed on the loading dispatch paperwork.
• Work safely, ensuring the safety of self and colleagues, and follow health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure FLT fleet is fit for purpose through completion of starter documentation and reporting damage to FLTs and plant damage following procedure.
• Undertake training and assist in training new colleagues; act as a buddy and provide guidance where necessary.

• Experience in a similar role within manufacturing.
• FLT, counterbalance or reach truck experience is essential (must provide certificate or license).
• A good standard of education; demonstrates good literacy and numerical skills, able to understand, communicate and report clearly in English.
