Job Summary

Paperchase Accountancy is looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations for multiple clients. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in bookkeeping, compliance, financial reporting, and client handling within an accountancy or professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounting for assigned clients, including bookkeeping and finalization of accounts
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances; ensure timely filings
- Reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and control accounts
- Prepare and review MIS reports and financial analysis for clients
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients to resolve accounting queries
- Support audits and liaise with auditors when required
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Mentor and guide junior accountants, as needed

Required

Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com / CA-Inter preferred
- 4–7 years of relevant experience in an accountancy firm or professional services setup
- Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, GST, TDS, and compliance
- Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, Zoho Books, Quick Books, or similar
- Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills and ability to manage client relationships

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience handling multiple clients simultaneously
- Exposure to international accounting (UK / US) will be an added advantage
- Prior experience in mentoring or reviewing junior team members’ work
