Logistic Executive; Cables, Switchgear & Wire Division

Position: Logistic Executive (Cables, Switchgear & Housing Wire Division)
Objective
To manage and optimize logistics operations for cables, switch gear, and housing wire products, ensuring timely dispatch, cost efficiency, and compliance with domestic and export procedures. The role aims to support smooth material flow across transportation, warehousing, and inventory, while maintaining high standards of safety, documentation, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities
Plan and manage transportation and dispatch of cables, switch gear, and housing wires, ensuring on-time delivery and cost optimization.
Oversee warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and proper storage of electrical products using FIFO principles.
Prepare and manage documentation for domestic and export shipments, including e-way bills, invoices, BL, COO, and customs compliance.
Ensure adherence to statutory norms like GST, DGFT, and safety standards.
Coordinate with vendors and transporters for smooth logistics operations and monitor performance metrics.
Maintain packaging standards and handle damage control, including transit insurance claims.
Monitor logistics costs, implement efficiency improvements, and support ERP/SAP processes.
Prepare MIS reports and track KPIs such as OTIF, damage rate, and turnaround time.

Experience and Qualification

Education:

Graduate in Supply Chain, Commerce, Logistics Management, or related field.

Experience:

2–6 years in logistics; preference for candidates experienced in cables, electrical hardware, switch gear, or manufacturing sectors.

Skills:

Knowledge of handling cable drums and electrical equipment logistics.
Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and MS Office.
Strong negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
