This role is responsible for overseeing the reliable operation and improvement of biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment. The engineer will lead initiatives to upgrade systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance in a regulated environment. This position requires proactive monitoring, risk assessment, and driving solutions to minimize production downtime.
Key Responsibilities:- Own and manage biopharmaceutical process equipment systems.
- Lead engineering improvements and upgrades for equipment and facilities.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance for optimal performance.
- Oversee commissioning, qualification, and interact with inspectors.
- Analyze system performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Skills:
- Proven experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
- Strong ability to perform and coordinate complex technical troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work a flexible 4x10 shift, including one weekend day.
- This role requires experience within the highly regulated biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry, with a strong preference for candidates familiar with cGMP environments and associated quality systems.
