Class 1 Driver

HGV Class 1 Driver (Days)

Location: Thrapston, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 12‑hour days (Start 04:00–06:00 – 14:00–16:00)
Salary: £40,374.75 per annum, monthly pay

• Deliver and collect products on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers
• Observe all legal and best‑practice driving procedures, including drivers’ hours and WTD regulations
• Use electronic P.O.D systems and up to‑date technology, receiving full training to ensure best practice
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods
• Drive safely and maintain a clean vehicle condition at all times

• Full UK C+E licence (essential)
• Excellent driving skills and no more than 6 points on the licence
• No previous disqualifications (DD, TT, DR, CD, IN)
• Right to work in the UK
• Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and WTD regulations
• Shunter training preferred; must be able to use ratchet and straps
