Position: Component Rebuilder L1 )
Our Components Rebuilder - Level 1 will train with our trusted Component Rebuilders in order to safely and effectively diagnose and repair/rebuild of all engine and power train components in a timely manner while ensuring positive customer relations.

Participate in safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors and practices at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy/Programs and best practicesRepair/rebuild components for our customers in a timely and economical mannerResponsible for remanufacturing of all engine components produced by Toromont Reman including but not limited to standard, oil pump, water pump, cylinder heads, fuel pump, etcFollow Caterpillar reusability Guidelines and Toromont REMAN ISO proceduresPrepare service reports and service documentation in an accurate and timely mannerEnsure internal and external customers’ requirements are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional mannerMust-haves for this role:
Completion of an accredited Trade School programMinimum 3 years experienceCompletion of an accredited Trade school program, or possessing a minimum of 3 years applicable experience in a comparable industrial environment.Minimum 70% score upon completion of the Toromont Technician Aptitude testMinimum 60 point rating following completion of the Toromont Technician Practical testAbility to learn individual systems operation and rebuild techniquesCustomer centric with excellent relationship management, interpersonal, organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detailSelf-motivated and energetic a team player who can work effectively in a high demand fast paced environmentAble to take the initiative and work with minimal supervisionComputer and systems literate with proficiencies with DBS, Excel and WordKnowledge of CAT SIS, or experience with Toromont parts operations would be an assetWilling and able to work flexible hours in support of the business needsA valid Driver’s Licence and current clean Driver’s AbstractAbout Toromont Reman
