Process Control Specialist/ Logistics Analyst, European Central Flow Team (ECFT)
We are seeking a Process Control Specialist (PCS) / Logistics Analyst to join Amazon's European Central Flow Team (ECFT). The PCS will orchestrate daily order flow across Fulfilment Centres (FCs), support workflow planning, risk mitigation, and cost and capacity management. You will collaborate with FC partners to guide operations, identify and rectify workflow variances, and manage the journey of millions of customer orders from checkout to shipment.
Location:
Tilbury, England, United Kingdom (LCY Tilbury office). This role uses a 4x10 work week schedule with shifts that may include Sundays, Wednesdays, or Saturdays and a Wednesday overlap day for projects and growth.
Responsibilities
- Master Amazon's proprietary flow management tools and processes, becoming the go-to interface for seamless FC operations
- Innovate and implement metrics; conduct analyses to uncover optimization opportunities and design scalable, standardized solutions
- Cultivate cross-functional partnerships and translate complex concepts into accessible insights for stakeholders across all levels
- Own and influence critical performance indicators, including customer promise attainment, flow planning adherence, and site KPIs
- Teach peers and customers via knowledge-sharing initiatives; develop and deliver training to elevate team capabilities
A day in the life
In ECFT, PCS colleagues synchronize schedules with FC partners, craft dynamic staffing plans, and collaborate with FC management to adapt to changing orders. They respond to disruptions with rapid mitigation, contingency planning, and cross-functional coordination to restore operations while preserving customer focus and delivery reliability.
About the Team
The European Central Flow Team (ECFT) drives capacity, risk, and workflow management across Amazon's FC network with real-time responsiveness and data-driven insights. We standardize processes, scale innovations across FCs, and focus on delivering customer promises on time.
Basic Qualifications
- Proficiency in English (European Framework level B2) for clear communication
- Ability to simplify complex ideas for diverse audiences
- Bias for action; able to work independently to triage issues and determine escalation needs
- Problem-solver with attention to detail; comfortable working with data to influence stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or relevant experience in logistics, leadership, administration, education, or related fields
- Experience in remote or centralized team environments
- Basic knowledge or interest in programming languages
- Ability to balance and prioritize while influencing others to achieve outcomes
- Experience collaborating with customers or stakeholders to drive business objectives
- Experience in fast-paced, metric-led environments with continuous improvement
