Transport Planner

Streamline Recruitment are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join a busy logistics operation based in Thurrock. This is a permanent role with an immediate start available.

You’ll be planning nationwide groupage and multidrop routes, keeping operations running smoothly and ensuring compliance with driver hours and fleet management requirements. It’s a hands-on role in a fast-moving environment, so you’ll need to be confident making decisions and finding solutions on the go.

The role will include:

* Creating efficient transport plans to meet delivery schedules.

* Monitoring and adjusting plans to deal with changes or challenges.

* Working closely with drivers, internal teams, and external partners.

* Using planning software to optimise routes and vehicle use.

What we’re looking for:

* Previous experience in Groupage work is essential.

* Knowledge of fleet management and driver hours regulations.

* Flexible to work shifts

What’s in it for you:

* Salary £34,000–£40,000 DOE + discretionary bonus.

* Monday - Friday flexibility with shifts ( 05:00-15:00 / 08:00-18:00 / 10:00-19:00 )
