Support emergency, fracture clinic, and rapid assessment services in Timmins, with expertise in arrhythmia interpretation and vascular access care.
Timmins and District Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide emergency care, outpatient minor surgery, fracture clinic services, and rapid assessment consultations. The position serves patients and their families while collaborating with the hospital's multidisciplinary team. Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration is required, with emergency and outpatient care knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide emergency care for individuals of all ages
- Support outpatient minor surgery and fracture clinic patients
- Conduct rapid assessment consultation services
- Maintain effective patient and family services
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary hospital professionals
- Current competence in central vascular access device care
- Arrhythmia interpretation and Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale competence
- Demonstrated performance and current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
- Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum or ENO certification considered
- Regular attendance and a good work ethic
