• Lead and motivate a team of support workers to deliver excellent person-centred care and support to people supported by Lifeways, enabling them to live a fulfilling and independent life.
• Recruit and develop support workers through supervision, interviews and guidance.
• Communicate effectively with staff, people we support and external professionals; maintain good written communication and ICT records.
• Support people who may have learning difficulties, autism, challenging behaviours and mobility issues; some manual handling may be required.

• Full UK Driving Licence (driving company cars).
• Experience as a Care Team Leader or Senior Support Worker; NVQ / QCF in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) would be an advantage. Lifeways also supports dedicated Care Assistants or Carers with progression through training.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and IT skills for record keeping.
