We have a fantastic opportunity for a Head Receptionist to join our teams at Putlands and Goudhurst!

This is a Full position, working 40 hours per week across both sites.

Responsibilities
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, book appointments and register new clients.
  • Complete insurance forms, dispense medications and take payments.
  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for clients arriving at the clinic.
  • Perform administrative duties such as debt management, banking and end‑of‑month processes.
  • Manage the reception team, staff/holiday rotas and recruitment.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams.
  • Previous receptionist or customer‑facing experience (essential).
  • Veterinary industry experience (highly beneficial).

The salary for this position will be £25,400‑£27,500 depending on experience (pro rata).
