Relief Staff (Resident Support – Cook and Housekeeping)

Bank (Zero Hours)

Pay Rate: £12.21 – £13.62 per hour

As relief staff, you will take on a dual role, combining cooking and resident support responsibilities. You will directly impact the wellbeing of our residents by providing the support and care they need in a safe, nurturing environment.

• Meal Preparation & Cooking:
  Prepare and serve home‑cooked meals for residents, while maintaining food stock and ensuring proper rotation.
• Resident Support:
  Be the first point of contact for residents, offering a friendly face and support with their daily needs.
• Housekeeping:
  Ensure communal areas are clean, tidy, and well‑maintained, creating a comfortable environment for all.
• Wellbeing Promotion:
  Promote the overall wellbeing of our residents, ensuring they feel respected, empowered, and connected within our community.

Eligibility to work in the UK, two satisfactory employment references, and a basic DBS check (cost met by Abbeyfield) are required. You may be asked to provide details regarding convictions; failure to disclose convictions may result in an offer of employment being revoked.
