HGV Technician – Day Shift

Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm

Basic Salary £42,000 + 1.5x Overtime Rate

OTE £45,000 - £50,000

Tonbridge Area

A long-established HGV workshop in the Tonbridge area is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join its day shift team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a skilled technician looking for stability, strong overtime potential and a genuine career path, within a business that supports a wide variety of van and truck servicing and repairs for commercial fleets.

Responsibilities

* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a mixed HGV fleet

* Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults

* Complete effective and timely repairs to DVSA and internal standards

* Work collaboratively with workshop colleagues to maintain smooth workflow

* Accurately complete job cards and associated documentation

Qualifications

* Previous experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Fitter

* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance

* Solid diagnostic skills across key systems

* Ability to manage own workload on a busy day shift

Salary and Benefits

 * £41,990 basic salary

* Mon–Fri, 7:30am–5pm (day shift)

* Lots of overtime available at 1.5x, OTE £45,000–£50,000

* 23 days holiday + bank holidays

* Long-service leave
