Senior Project Manager – Water Infrastructure (MEICA / Civils)

A leading Tier 1 contractor is strengthening its delivery team across the Southeast Water framework and is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with strong MEICA and civil engineering exposure.

This is a senior role working across clean and wastewater infrastructure, offering long-term programme security, complex projects, and clear progression within a stable framework environment.

The Role

You will take full ownership of one large project or a portfolio of smaller schemes, leading delivery from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover. The role combines technical understanding, commercial awareness, and strong leadership across multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities include:

* Overall responsibility for programme, cost, quality, and safety performance

* Leading MEICA and civils interfaces across design, construction and commissioning

* Managing project teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners

* Overseeing RAMS, temporary works and statutory compliance

* Working closely with commissioning teams to ensure successful asset integration

* Client-facing responsibility, including reporting, progress reviews and issue resolution

* Supporting planning, sequencing and risk management across live projects

* Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to regulatory standards

About You

You will be an experienced Project Manager with a background in water infrastructure, ideally having worked within a Tier 1 or large Tier 2 contractor environment.

We are open to candidates with either MEICA or civils bias, provided you have strong experience managing multidisciplinary delivery.

Key requirements:

* Proven experience delivering water or wastewater infrastructure projects

* Strong understanding of MEICA and civils interfaces

* Confident leading teams, contractors and client stakeholders

* Commercial and programme awareness

* SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH preferred

* Strong Microsoft Office capability

* Full UK driving licence
