Intermediate Accountant – Assurance (BDO Canada)

We are looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join our GTA Audit Practice. This role is open to candidates in Toronto, Oakville, or Markham.

• Conduct and support audit engagements by preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Streamline the preparation of year‑end engagements and tax returns for clients across diverse industries.
• Foster positive working relationships with clients and promptly address their requests and suggestions.
• Maintain ongoing communication with team members regarding progress updates and issues.

• Completed or working toward CPA designation.
• Minimum 1 year of audit experience in the public accounting industry.
• Exposure to ASPE, ASNPO, IFRS, or US GAAP (asset).
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Solid understanding of accounting policies and assurance techniques.

$54,000 to $76,000 per year (inclusive of benefits).
