Your OpportunityWe are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our GTA Audit Practice, with flexibility to work from Toronto, Oakville, or Markham. This is a net new position where you will own the following responsibilities:
- Lead and conduct audit and review engagements, preparing working papers and financial statements in accordance with regulatory and firm standards.
- Coordinate year‑end assurance engagements for clients across a range of industries, including supporting information for corporate tax filings prepared by the tax team.
- Apply working knowledge of accounting frameworks such as ASPE, ASNPO, IFRS, and US GAAP, as appropriate to client needs.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships by responding promptly to requests and delivering high‑quality service.
- Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand services with existing clients.
- Communicate regularly with engagement team members to provide progress updates and raise issues proactively.

- Successful completion of your CPA designation.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in external audit within the public accounting industry.
- Working knowledge of ASPE, ASNPO, IFRS, and/or US GAAP standards (depending on client needs).
- Prioritization of teamwork, client service, and delivering high‑quality, detailed work.
- Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Expected compensation: $62,000 to $96,000.
