• Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations, specifically through coordinating review engagements, related disclosures and other client deliverables
• Demonstrate experience and ability to act as an in-charge on engagements and communicate efficiently with clients
• Collaborate with the engagement senior manager and partners on engagement approach and execute on the plan
• Recognize industry-specific and general accounting and tax issues, including possible taxable benefits and tax saving measures
• Provide insightful feedback on financial statements and prepare other client deliverables such as corporate tax returns, HST returns, payroll memos and related tax slips
• Anticipate and address client concerns and elevate issues as they arise
• Manage time appropriately across multiple projects
• Recognize and communicate significant accounting and tax matters to senior manager and partner on engagement
• Stay abreast of evolving accounting standards, regulations and best practices
• Supervise associates, monitoring and reporting regarding productivity and adherence to work plan and budget
• Participate in our coaching program as a coach of 2 – 3 junior team members
• Identify performance improvement opportunities for team members
• Contribute to business development efforts, including client relationship management

• 4 – 6 years of current or recent experience in a public accounting environment
• CPA Certification
• Review engagement experience required
• Understanding and knowledge of ASPE and relevant income tax sections
• Experience with Taxprep and Case Ware or similar software is an asset

Placement within the salary range will depend on depth of experience, demonstrated skills and alignment with the scope of the role.
