Overview
The Senior Accountant will support our installation and repair services business withing the Leon’s Furniture Group - LFL - of companies. The senior accountant will be responsible for accounting, reporting, budgeting and tracking of KPIs.
Responsibilities
Month end close processes (preparation of journal entries, elimination entries, recurring entries and accruals, and account reconciliations) for the installation and repair services business.Preparation of the monthly management report deliverables.Assist with the interim and year-end audit.Participate in special projects as required.Liaise with operational and other corporate departments.Identify financial process improvement opportunities.Qualifications
3-5 years of accounting experience with focus on financial reporting and analysis.Designated accountant (CPA, CA preferred).Strong knowledge of IFRS including technical accounting and reporting requirements.Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management within the organization.Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.Experience in the skilled trades industry considered asset.Oracle (Fusion) experience and/or experience with LimeTAC is an asset.Why Join Leon’s?
