SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

We’re looking for a hands‑on detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys diving into the details, and takes pride in maintaining financial accuracy. Reporting to the CFO, you’ll play a key role in month‑end closing reporting and annual audits.

• Prepare month‑end journal entries, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support weekly and monthly bank reporting
• Maintain integrity and accuracy of accounting records
• Assist with inter‑company transactions and reconciliations
• Assist with accounts payable functions including weekly payment runs
• Serve as the escalation point for resolving complex vendor inquiries and internal discrepancies
• Maintain compliance with company policies and tax regulations (e.g., HST)
• Support year‑end audits and ad hoc reporting projects

• Accounting degree designation or enrollment in a CPA program
• 3 years of full‑cycle accounting experience (retail or multi‑entity an asset)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting
• Excellent analytical problem‑solving and communication skills
• Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail
• Experience with Microsoft Business Central is an asset
