• Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations, specifically through coordinating review engagements, related disclosures and other client deliverables
• Collaborate with client engagement team on engagement approach and execute on the plan
• Develop and apply knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE)
• Recognize industry-specific and general accounting and tax issues, including possible taxable benefits and tax saving measures.
• Provide insightful feedback on financial statements and prepare other client deliverables such as corporate tax returns, HST returns, payroll memos and related tax slips
• Anticipate and address client concerns and elevate issues as they arise
• Manage time appropriately across multiple projects

• 1 – 2 years of current or recent experience completing review engagements in a public accounting environment
• Working towards the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) designation
• Understanding and knowledge of ASPE and relevant income tax sections
• Experience with Taxprep and Case Ware or similar software is considered an asset

Placement within the salary range will depend on depth of experience, demonstrated skills and alignment with the scope of the role.
