Job Description:Our Recruiting Division client, a food manufacturing company in North York
, is seeking a Senior Accountant to support their team on a part-time basis (3-5 days per month). This is an ongoing, long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
- Assist with month-end closing processes.
- Prepare and post journal entries
. - Perform bank reconciliations and other key account reconciliations
. - Generate and analyze financial reports
. - Collaborate with the CFO to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
, preferably in manufacturing. - Strong knowledge of month-end procedures, reconciliations, and financial reporting
. - Experience working with an accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Sage, or similar).
- This role is not suitable for candidates seeking full-time employment.
