Tekvaly is hiring a Senior Accountant with 3+ years experience for a Licensed Accounting Firm in Toronto specializing in the healthcare industry, supporting companies across Canada and the U.S.
This is a full-time onsite role (5 days/week).

- 3+ years of experience in a small to mid-size accounting firm.
- Strong hands‑on experience managing end-to-end accounting cycle including:
Accounting, Payroll, Tax preparation, planning, filing, Tax compliance and Bookkeeping. - Extensive experience preparing Personal tax returns (T1) and Corporate tax returns (T2).
- Proficiency in Quick Books (Desktop & Online) and common accounting systems.
- Strong understanding of Canadian tax standards.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable in a client‑facing environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent combination of industry related professional experience and education.
- Oversee and manage full-cycle accounting for client.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Supervise payroll processing and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
- Prepare and review corporate and personal tax returns.
- Conduct tax planning, tax research, and ensure clients remain compliant with applicable regulations.
- Maintain and monitor accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
- Lead and support year-end processes, audits, and financial reviews.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing guidance and addressing inquiries professionally.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen financial reporting accuracy and efficiency.
