Accounting Manager - Critical Minerals

We are seeking an Accounting Manager to support day-to-day accounting operations while playing a central role in audit readiness and pre-IPO preparation. This role offers direct exposure to external auditors, advisors, and senior leadership, with meaningful responsibility and growth potential.

The successful candidate will have a “front-row seat” to a reverse takeover transaction and US public listing process.

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and support the month-end close process
• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analyses
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready financial records across multiple entities

• Support external auditors in quarterly and annual audits
• Prepare financial statements and audit schedules
• Manage PBC requests, documentation, and auditor inquiries
• Assist with historical financial audits related to acquired entities

• Support indirect tax filings (e.g., HST) and corporate tax information gathering
• Assist with CRA account administration and coordination with external tax advisors

• Support weekly accounts payable runs and payment processing
• Maintain bank and credit card reconciliations
• Assist with multi-currency bank account management and access controls

• Support payroll coordination with third-party providers
• Validate timesheets, expenses, and funding requirements
• Assist with resolving routine payroll and benefits issues

• Act as an administrative and financial liaison between management, auditors, tax advisors, and government or grant bodies
• Ensure timely information flow, organized documentation, and strong internal controls

• Accounting Manager or Senior Accountant level, with strong hands‑on experience
• Experience supporting audits and working with external accounting firms
• Comfortable operating in a growing, multi‑entity, international environment
• Interest in pre‑IPO, M&A integration, and public company readiness
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive
