About the RoleClutch is looking for a Cash Application Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting team
. You are a detail‑oriented, analytical professional with a passion for accuracy and process improvement. You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely, precise recording and reconciliation of payments and receivables, helping to maintain financial integrity across all transactions.
- Review and record sale transactions to correct customer ledgers, reconciling revenue on a daily basis to ensure accurate recording.
- Monitor payment receipts and apply payments to outstanding receivables, ensuring payments are received in a timely manner.
- Work alongside the sales & treasury team to coordinate receipt of funds and resolve discrepancies or past‑due payments.
- Monitor customer account details for non‑payment, delayed payments, and other discrepancies.
- Manage source documents and ensure our records are organized, complete and accurate.
- Assist the Finance & Accounting team with month‑end close process and year‑end audit requests.
- Work closely with Management on various ad‑hoc projects that will improve and maintain the full accounting cycle & accounting functions of the company.
- You have a post‑secondary education in Accounting.
- You have 1‑2 years experience in an accounting role, working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- You are proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and you have the ability to quickly learn new applications/tools.
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) and you are able to develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and vendors.
- You have exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- You are entrepreneurial and a hustler: you do what it takes to get the job done and enjoy working hard.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus.
- You are comfortable working at our Downtown Toronto office at 60 Adelaide St.
