About the Job:

• Oversaw full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Issued billings for capital projects and coordinated with external consultants when required.
• Administered weekly payroll for both hourly and salaried staff, preparing supporting journal entries.
• Addressed payroll-related accounting questions and provided timely support to employees and managers.
• Completed and submitted T4s along with all payroll-related reconciliations.
• Partnered with HR, Operations, and other departments to align on financial processes and requirements.
• Conducted bank reconciliations as well as reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
• Monitored and reconciled corporate credit card activity.
• Filed GST/QST and other regulatory remittances in compliance with government deadlines.
• Posted journal entries related to material allocations for capital projects.
• Determined year-end inventory valuations for reporting purposes.
• Entered and updated capital project budget adjustments in the accounting system.
• Prepared and filed T5018 returns for contract payments.
• Supported internal teams by completing and submitting credit application documentation.

About You:

• Minimum of 3 years’ full cycle accounting and payroll experience
• Bilingual in French and English
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications

Salary Range: $70-$90k
