Overview
Description We are seeking a Senior-level accounting professional with 3-5 years of solid experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across audits, reviews, and compilations for clients in manufacturing, retail, real estate, and construction.
Responsibilities- Lead and execute audit, review, and compilation engagements
- Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable standards
- Handle T2 and T1 tax returns, including year-end tax planning
- Work directly with clients to address accounting, tax, and compliance matters
- Support junior staff and review their work as required
- 3-5 years of relevant public accounting experience
- Strong experience in audit, review, and compilation engagements
- Industry exposure to manufacturing, retail, real estate, and construction
- Solid working knowledge of T2 and T1 filings and year-end tax planning
- Experience must extend beyond NPOs and condominium corporations (Candidates with experience limited only to NPOs and condo corporations will not be considered)
- CPA designation or progress toward CPA (if applicable)
- Strong communication and client-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines
