Manager of Corporate Accounting

Manager of Corporate Accounting – 3 Month Contract
Responsibilities

· Oversee month-end close activities, including reconciliations, financial reporting, and consolidation support.

· Review sales, accounts receivable, cost of goods sold, and inventory reporting.

· Manage payment approvals and ensure compliance with internal accounting policies.

· Oversee sales tax filings and related compliance requirements.

· Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting procedures.

· Support external audits and prepare required financial documentation.

· Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiencies.

· Assist with ad hoc accounting initiatives as required.

Qualifications

· CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA certification.

· University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.

· Strong understanding of financial reporting, month-end close, and internal controls.

· Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and lookups.

· Experience with inventory accounting is an asset.

· Experience with Net Suite or similar ERP systems is preferred.

· Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.

Pay Rate
$50.00/ Hour
