We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Scheduler with expertise in both Microsoft Project and Primavera software’s. The Construction Scheduler requires advanced knowledge of construction systems, sequencing and workflow. This role combines a mix of hands‑on project scheduling, Integrated advanced analytics, predictive modeling, and optimization of tools to create efficiencies while eliminating waste. The Construction Scheduler plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Based in Toronto, Ottawa or Montreal, this position reports to the Corporate Director, Field Operations, with close collaboration with the Chief Estimator and project teams across multiple sectors.

1. Project Scheduling & Optimization
- Develop, maintain, automate and optimize construction schedules using integrated platforms (Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore) and AI‑driven scheduling tools to reduce manual effort and increase accuracy.
- Identify risks, critical path activities, and potential delays; propose mitigation strategies and generate scenario‑based forecasts.
- Automate schedule updates, resource leveling and productivity tracking where possible to reduce manual work with the ultimate goal of enabling our field teams to focus on execution rather than administration.
- Ensure schedule consistency and alignment across multiple projects, supporting timely reporting and decision‑making.
- Generate and present clear schedule reports to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Assist the estimation department with bid schedules, milestone schedules, and proposal submissions.
- Provide scheduling input for project RFPs and develop conceptual schedules based on project scope and contract requirements.
- Leverage predictive analytics to support competitive and accurate bid submissions
- Work closely with project managers, superintendents, field staff, and estimators to collect accurate project data and align schedules with objectives.
- Communicate updates and recommendations effectively across field, office, and executive teams.
- Participate in project review meetings and provide actionable scheduling insights.
- Support field teams with schedule‑related inquiries and mentor team members on AI‑assisted scheduling practices, training them on digital dashboards, mobile tools, and automated reporting to simplify workflows and save time.
- Leverage innovative forecasting tools to anticipate bottlenecks and streamline project delivery.
- Continuously explore new scheduling technologies and implement practical solutions that shorten planning cycles, improve forecast accuracy, and create measurable efficiencies across all projects.
- 3+ years’ construction scheduling experience (commercial, industrial, or institutional).
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of CPM, sequencing, and construction methodologies.
- Experience supporting bid schedules and RFP submissions.
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Canadian construction regulations (asset).
- Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset.
