As an employee of Cardinal Point Capital Management ULC, this position is centered on ensuring customer satisfaction, providing customer support, effective communication, utilizing analytical skills, and delivering exceptional client service on a daily basis.

Primary functions involve processing tasks with the firm’s custodial providers in Canada and the U.S. These responsibilities include:

  • Manage, complete, and track account paperwork for multiple clients and custodians in both US and Canada.
  • Manage cashiering including money transfer requests (transfers, wires, EFT, checks, etc.) for multiple clients and custodians in both US and Canada.
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new clients and working with the client service team to collect data from the clients to support the investment needs for clients.
  • Maintain client-related compliance policies and procedures to support the investment team and it’s strategy.
  • Independently answer client and employee inquiries related to your job functions by phone, text and email in a timely manner, including training client on how to use our systems and client portal.
  • Participate in strategic projects and committees to help implement the company's strategic vision.
  • Serve as a primary liaison with custodian for issues related to listed job functions. Investigate and present more efficient ways of performing job functions with each custodian.
  • Administrative support and document collection for filing client tax returns.

The role requires acute attention to detail, excellent time management, exemplary verbal and written skills and a penchant for problem solving. Relationship building skills are essential, as there will be frequent contact with the firm’s customers and suppliers. The ability to work in an independent environment is a critical aspect.

Candidates should possess an undergraduate degree. Completion of the Canadian Securities Course is also an asset. Proficiency with Salesforce, Word and Excel, Net Rep, Dataphile, NetX
360 are advantageous.
