The Motivator is the first point of contact for members and potential members visiting the club. They create a welcoming, clean, and safe environment to help members achieve their fitness goals and ensure a positive, engaging experience.
Responsibilities- Be pleasant and present with every greeting and interaction.
- Greet members and check them in for their workouts.
- Handle walk‑ins and direct potential members appropriately.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and manage messages or appointments.
- Assist members on the floor with equipment and service questions.
- Provide in‑depth membership and club service knowledge and sell these products as appropriate.
- Resolve member questions or concerns, update member information, and handle bookings using our systems.
- Handle comments, suggestions, and concerns politely and professionally.
- Provide Fit‑Fix Starter sessions for new and current members.
- Complete club runs and cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness standards.
- Participate in required learning and attend all monthly meetings.
- CPR‑A & AED certification.
- Smart Tan certification within 3 months of employment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport.
- Customer‑focused mindset with dedication to customer expectations.
- Team player, willing to help colleagues and share knowledge.
- Approachability and listener skills.
- Knowledge of the fitness industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency with computers.
- Previous customer service and sales experience is an asset.

Starting base wage of $18.35 per hour. Eligible for commissions in addition to base wage. Expected annual total compensation range $19,800 - $21,200 based on scheduled hours, performance, time in position, and variable compensation earned.
