** Your Role
** As a
** Senior Designer at Gensler**, you will lead creative, collaborative teams dedicated to design innovation and excellence. Use your unique design perspective to bring new approaches to design process and strategy, develop next-generation talent, and help our clients redesign what’s possible.
** What You Will Do
*** Lead creative efforts on a variety of client projects, developing overall design concepts and design presentation strategies
* Mentor and provide creative direction to junior design teams
* Closely collaborate with Design Directors for personal career development, coaching, and mentorship
* Play a key role in a range of interior design projects that include programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning and construction documentation.
* Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment (FF&E), finish palettes, and lighting.
* Generate finish plans, specifications, and material selections needed for construction
* Provide design support and documentation guidance during completion and execution of design concepts
* Act as the key design interface with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers, and fabricators
* Collaborate with team members and colleagues to promote an inter-disciplinary design approach and philosophy
* Participate in business development and marketing efforts
** Your Qualifications
*** Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field from an accredited school
* 10+ years of interior design experience
* Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills
* Proficient in Revit, Enscape, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and other modeling software programs
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
* Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections, and specifications
* Graphics and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas
* LEED accreditation, preferred
* NCIDQ accreditation, preferred
* Strong corporate workplace experience and hospitality experience is desired
