OverviewThe Ontario Energy Board (OEB) is currently seeking an energetic and collaborative student to join our team as a Digitization Project Co‑op Student
. This position reports to the Deputy Registrar – Projects and supports the OEB’s creation of a digital repository of adjudicative records. The Adjudicative Projects team leads strategic work to improve the processing and disposition of all matters before the OEB, including the implementation of new technology, mapping of business processes, and digitization of records. This group outreaches with other tribunals and adjudicative stakeholders to identify best practices and emerging issues with respect to adjudication.
- Examine and sort records for scanning.
- Track records through the digitization process by entering significant information into an Excel spreadsheet.
- Scan physical records while meeting digitization and quality standards.
- Securely store digitized records in Open Text Content Manager (EDRMS) and index appropriate metadata within Content Manager (training provided on the EDRMS).
- Support the development and implementation of the OEB’s updated records‑management policy.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Experience with Microsoft Office programs and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat.
- Applicable experience in digital records, digitization, and record keeping is an asset.
- Completion of 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate program registered in a co‑op program, or enrollment in a Master’s program with a co‑op component at a recognized post‑secondary institution. Preferred fields of study:
Information Science, Records and Information Management, or Archival Studies.
