The Velocity Program is not your average internship or co-op! This is a customized experience that focuses on providing you with the development and tools you need to grow your career. After successfully completing a co-op or internship with top performance, we will work with you to establish your future placements. As a result, you will get to learn, grow, and experiment within different areas of both Scotiabank and Tangerine!
Who We Are?
The Architecture and Design team is comprised of architects and designers that are responsible for important and prestigious projects relating to Scotiabank’s Real Estate, in Canada and internationally.
Who we are looking for?
Student enrolled in Architecture, Building Technology, Design or related program
Some experience in the production of design, space planning drawings in AutoCAD
Proficiency in CAD, Revit, and other pertinent software including Sketchup, Photoshop, MS Office
Experience in 3D renderings, Sketch Up, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and any other software platforms
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
Initiative and motivation to achieve high standards in architectural work
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, clients, consultants, and other stake holders
French / Spanish speaking an asset
What will I contribute toward?
Collaboration with an office team in design, preparation of presentation material, sample boards and in the production of documents in AutoCAD
Production of documentation in written form, to a high quality and professional standard
Regular schedule of work, and meeting of schedule for work assigned by the team
Develop visual materials to represent designs, utilizing Photoshop and Adobe Suite
