Responsibilities- Drive Design Research Strategy: cultivate relationships with stakeholders, integrate research into strategic planning, and prioritize impactful research initiatives.
- Architect comprehensive research fieldwork approaches, both moderated and unmoderated, aligned with business and design objectives.
- Execute and analyze research: design and implement diverse research activities, rigorously evaluate prototypes, conduct live sessions with users, and synthesize data into clear core themes.
- Lead and facilitate ideation sessions and collaborative activities to foster innovation and shared understanding.
- BA/BS in Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, Information Studies, Design (Interaction, Graphic, Visual Communications, Product, Industrial), HCI, CS, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of dedicated experience in research.
- Demonstrated technical understanding of design research theory and proficiency with various design research tools.
- Experience collaborating effectively within cross‑functional teams.
- Nice to have: MA/MS or certification in a related field, appreciation for design thinking, experience in a large organizational structure and agile environment, prior success launching a digital product.
