THE ROLE

We’re hiring a Senior Product Designer to lead design across Maple’s patient experience, shaping how millions of Canadians access and experience care on Maple.

You’ll join a small, highly collaborative design team where craft, impact, and autonomy truly matter. You’ll take ownership of complex, high-value patient-facing workflows, partner deeply with Product and Engineering, and help raise the bar for design quality across the organization. This is an opportunity to influence both our current experience and our future vision at a company where the quality of our design directly shapes patient outcomes.

If you thrive on solving complex problems, shaping product direction, and executing with exceptional craft, this role offers the ownership and scope to make a meaningful impact.

YOUR IMPACT
  • Play a central role in shaping a best-in‑class care delivery experience, helping millions of Canadians navigate consultations and receive care with confidence and ease.
  • Lead complex, high‑impact patient‑facing end‑to‑end experiences, operating with a high degree of autonomy from discovery through delivery and iteration.
  • Shape product direction alongside Product and Engineering, influencing prioritization, framing opportunities, and guiding the long‑term strategy for Maple’s care delivery platform.
  • Raise the bar for craft, usability, accessibility, and systems thinking, contributing to our design system and ensuring consistency across multiple surfaces and workflows.
  • Drive clarity and alignment across teams, using strong communication, documentation, and facilitation to help cross‑functional partners make informed decisions.
  • Strengthen design operations and team effectiveness, improving processes, championing best practices, and supporting a healthy, collaborative product culture.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

In your first 90 days, you’ll build relationships with cross‑functional partners, develop a clear understanding of Maple’s patient experience, and start leading key design initiatives. You’ll identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce friction, and elevate usability across the product.

Over the next 12 months, you’ll shape Maple’s next‑generation patient experience — integrating AI into core flows, evolving our design system, and raising craft and quality across patient‑facing surfaces. You’ll deliver measurable improvements to engagement, satisfaction, and product clarity while helping define what best‑in‑class looks like in virtual care.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Have 6+ years of experience designing end‑to‑end product experiences in consumer‑facing SaaS, with a portfolio demonstrating complex, multi‑surface problem‑solving.
  • Strong interaction design craft and systems thinking, with a proven ability to design accessible, inclusive, and scalable user experiences.
  • Operates with high autonomy, leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives and making sound decisions with minimal oversight.
  • Comfortable shaping clarity in ambiguous spaces, identifying patterns, defining experience principles, and framing opportunities that guide…
