Your Role
As a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) Specialist at Anova, you’ll be part of a high-performing, collaborative team dedicated to helping patients achieve their dreams of parenthood. You’ll work closely with physician assistants, nurses, embryologists, lab professionals, and administrative staff in a supportive, fully resourced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Consultation and Treatment
- Conduct patient consultations and assessments, perform physical exams, and recommend diagnostic testing
- Provide in-office consultations, follow-ups, procedures, and treatments
- Develop individualized treatment plans and perform complex procedures including egg retrievals and embryo transfers
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their partners throughout the care journey
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, cohesive care
- Stay up-to-date on advancements in reproductive medicine and fertility treatments
- Mentor junior physicians, residents, and clinical trainees
- Participate in training programs for staff and contribute to ongoing professional development
- Attend and present at internal meetings, journal clubs, and educational sessions
- Participate in or lead clinical research projects to advance the field of reproductive health
- Contribute to innovative clinical practices, technologies, and treatment protocols
- Present findings at professional conferences and publish in peer-reviewed journals
- Collaborate with external research institutions and partners
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinic management meetings
- Provide input into clinical operations, resource planning, and policy development
- Follow CPSO and PHIPA requirements for records management
- Provide patients and authorized parties with timely access to medical records
- Ensure transparency and professionalism in all clinical documentation
- Qualifications:
- Eligible to hold a license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
- RCPSC-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology with fellowship in REI or equivalent
- Proficient in ART procedures including IVF, ICSI, and ovarian stimulation
- Compassionate, inclusive, and patient-focused approach to care
- Comfortable collaborating within a multidisciplinary environment
- Experience in third-party reproduction is an asset
- Strong communication, leadership, and clinical documentation skills
- Clinic Hours & Scheduling
- Monday to Friday: 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Rotational Saturday coverage: 1 per month
