Position Summary
The Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular Surgery at Humber River Health is seeking a vascular surgeon with a demonstrated proficiency in both open and endovascular techniques. Candidates with an interest in education, innovation, and clinical program development are desired. A commitment to teamwork, and patient centred care is essential.
The successful candidate will join a collegial team of 4 vascular surgeons who will support a structured development of the successful candidate’s clinical practice. Resources include access to hybrid interventional operating suite and hospital clinics.
The candidate will be expected to share in the Division of Vascular Surgery on-call responsibilities. Additionally, the successful candidate is expected to apply for academic appointment in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto.
Qualifications, Skills and Attributes
In addition to demonstrated clinical excellence and outstanding interpersonal skills, the candidates must have an MD or equivalent, and have completed an accredited vascular surgery training program. The successful candidate must be eligible for licensure in the Province of Ontario.
