Metallurgical Technician

Overview

The Work. Agencyare currently supporting one of our operating mining clients with their search for intermediate Metallurgical Technician. The role will form an integral part of their metallurgical team as they continue to grow their operations. The team are looking for a mid-level tech who will be learning and developing under the guidance of the senior team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the metallurgical processes of our operation.

Collaborating with our team, you'll conduct tests, gather data, and assist in analysing metallurgical samples. Your technical expertise will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our metal production processes.

Based in Ontario, our client is a multi-project developer and operator who are growth focused and eager to continue building out their team. They are looking for team members who share their passion for mining and creating industry leading standards. • Conduct tests and collect data related to metallurgical processes.
• Assist in analysing metallurgical samples under guidance from senior team members.
• Collaborate with team to support quality and efficiency of metal production processes.
• Learn and develop technical skills under supervision within the metallurgical team.

• Relevant technical diploma or degree in metallurgy or a related field.
• Previous experience in a similar role, ideally within a metal operation setting, is advantageous.
• Keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work meticulously.
• Familiarity with metallurgical testing equipment and laboratory procedures is essential.
• Collaborative approach, adaptability, and a commitment to safety.
