Sr Mechatronics Engineer

Pay Range

Base pay range: CA$/yr - CA$/yr

• Design, develop, and validate electromechanical systems for automotive and EV applications
• Work on EV transmission systems, including actuators, sensors, and control subsystems
• Develop and integrate motors, inverters, and motor control systems
• Select, specify, and validate sensors, transducers, and actuators
• Practical knowledge in electrical and electronic analog and digital circuits
• Support wiring harness design and electrical panel layout, including documentation
• Implement and debug CAN bus communication (automotive protocols preferred)
• Familiar with embedded software for microcontroller-based systems
• Collaborate with mechanical design and manufacturing teams
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks with strong project management discipline
• Support testing, debugging, root‑cause analysis, and system optimization

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry (EV experience strongly preferred)

• Programming: C / C++, Python
• Engineering Tools: MATLAB / Simulink, LabVIEW
• Experience with embedded development, debugging tools, data logger and test automation is a plus
