Key accountabilities:
Coordinate all the Safety Assurance activities on the project / system / product as per Safety process defined in Signalling Safety InstructionPerform Safety analysis, manage Hazard Log, review RAM, Cyber, V&V, T&C activities from a Safety perspectiveDefine safety plan and manage safety workload and associated planningSupport tenders and/or RC teams to integrate product/system in projectsBuild the Safety Reports and/or the Safety CasesApply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the project / system / productOrganize and attend periodic Safety ReviewsDefend Safety Case argumentations in front of internal (QS, Safety Assessor) and external (ISA) assessors; define and follow-up action plans to close the findings of the assessorsManage (if any) the Safety Assurance Engineers involved on the project / system / product (Internal or external resources)If identified as Safety Leader for a Safety Issue, manage 8D steps as per processKey Job Authorities and Dimensions
Safety reference on the related Projects/Program for the Core team, Customer (internal or external) and assessors/SA (internal and external)Team manager if SAE involvedSafety budget responsibleRequired Profile
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering,Electronics, or Systems Engineering degree5 years successful experience in safety assurance, including 2 years in Railway businessExcellent knowledge of Cenelec Standards for Safety (or equivalent standards if needed: AREMA, IEEE, etc ) and safety methodology & concepts/principlesPrior management experience (preferred)English operational in reading and writing for technical documentationYou don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us.
